Crowned in all her glory, this piece stands as a portrait of a women who is very strong and statuesque. In this piece, I posed a question to myself. The questions being, How would I crown myself? Would be in achievements or accolades that I have accumulated throughout my life? Would that deem me worthy of a nice shiny crown? Or would it be my health and the people I surround myself with that make me feel I am worth all the glory of a "crown." Then I thought, is the answer to this simple. Is it black and white?
